Germán López Tirado (b. 1991) is a Mexican filmmaker based in the Carolinas working with analog and digital film. He holds an MFA from Duke University and is a 2025 Flaherty Film Fellow as well as a recipient of the Robert E. Pristo Filmmaking Award.

His films have screened at the Buffalo International Film Festival, Nogales International Film Festival, and Cindependent, where he won the 2025 Best Experimental Short Award. He is the Digital Studio Manager and a Lecturer in Film at Coastal Carolina University.
